Komboloi
Komboloi is like a bigger version of a begleri. I have made tons bracelets because then I can carry them around with me and mess with them when I am bored.
Make your own[3]
Follow the tutorials in the references, but this is what I do.
Materials
- Paracord for bracelet (275 or 90 sized), length about 3x your wrist circumference
- Paracord to tie clasp (one step lower than above, or just a really small one), length I dunno, 3ft?
- 25-30 8-10mm metal/hematite beads with 4-5mm holes (usually from Etsy or eBay)
- Lighter to close off ends of paracord
Instructions
- Add beads to the paracord so that it will go around your wrist one time. You don't want too many beads because then it won't be tight, but you also shouldn't go too far under because then it feels weird. YMMV.
- Use the paracord that is one step smaller to add a clasp using the cobra knot[4] around the two pieces of cord once the beads are one. This makes it adjustable.
- Then tie an overhand knot using both strands at the loose end, and you are done!
