One Pot Pasta
This recipe makes four servings, so effectively 2+ people's worth.
Ingredients
- 12 oz linguine
- 12 oz cherry/grape tomatoes
- 1 onion (roughly 2 cups), thinly sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 2 sprigs basil
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 4.5 cups water
Cookware
- Measuring cups and spoons
- Kitchen scale
- Knife
- Stove
- Soup pot
- Wooden spoon
- Tongs
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients together in soup pot. Bring to a boil over high heat.
- While boiling, stir and turn the pasta frequently with tongs until pasta is al dente and water has nearly evaporated (around 9 minutes).
- Season to taste with salt and pepper.
