King's Corner
King's Corner is a multi- or single-player Patience-style solitaire card game played with a standard playing card deck.
Setup
The dealer deals 7 cards to each player face down. The remaining cards go in the center of the table as a draw pile. Four cards are drawn off of the top and are placed face up in the four cardinal directions around the remaining cards. It will end up looking like the diagram below, with the draw pile in the center face down.

Play
The player left of the dealer starts. The player should play all possible cards in their hand and on the table. The ways to play are as follows, generally following that of Patience-style solitaire:
- When a player has a king, they should play that king in a corner between any two of the stacks in the cardinal directions. It can be played on like any other stack.
- Cards in the hand can be played on a card on the table if it is one value lower and of opposite color. For instance, a 7 of clubs (a black suit) could be played on an 8 of hearts (a red suit); a 7 of clubs could not be played on an 8 of spades because they are both black suits, and a 7 of clubs could not be played on a 9 of hearts because 7 is not exactly one less than 9.
- Stacks of cards on the table can be moved and placed on other stacks iff the top card of the pile being moved is one value lower and the opposite color of the bottom card of the other stack. For instance, a stack with a 7 of clubs (a black suit) and a 6 of hearts can be moved onto the bottom of a stack with a 9 of spades and an 8 of diamonds (a red suit).
- When a stack of cards is moved, you can play any card in your hand in that empty space.
- Aces are low, and nothing can be played on an ace.
When a player's turn starts, if the player cannot play, then they must draw from the draw pile until they can play. Then their turn continues as normal.
When a player can no longer play, they should put their cards face down on the table to signify to the next player that they are finished.
How to win
The player who plays all the cards in their hand first wins.
