Cookware

- Butter knife or some spreading utensil
- Parchment paper
-
If meal prep:
- Freezer
- Baking sheet to freeze bread
- Parchment paper/freezer paper/silicone liner
- Containers for storage
- Oven or toaster oven
Ingredients
- Bread of whatever kind (crusty, white, sweet, whatever), prepared to hold the garlic/butter mixture
- 1 part cubed butter
- 1 part minced garlic (I have pre-minced mine and it's in the freezer)
- Dehydrated parsley (optional)
- Salt
Instructions
- Put the garlic and butter in a microwave safe bowl and heat until butter is softened, about a minute or so. Add a couple pinches of salt and the parsley if desired and mix them together, letting them sit and mingle for a few minutes.
- Add a healthy dollop of the mixture onto the bread and spread it with a knife. Put garlic-covered bread onto your baking sheet and put it in the freezer for a few hours. When sufficiently frozen, take them out and put them in a container, layering them with parchment in between the slices if stacking.
- When ready to eat, take them out and put them right in the oven at 200°C/425°F for 10 minutes. Done!
