Flour Dumplings
Ingredients
- 240g/2c flour
- 18g/4tsp baking powder
- 6g/1tsp salt
- 170ml / 2/3c alt milk
- 57g/4Tbsp olive oil or melted butter
If you want to have this with soup, also have some soup hot on the stove. If you want it separate, have a griddle or pan ready.
Cookware
- Measuring cups and spoons
- Mixing bowl
- Sturdy mixing utensil (dough whisk, fork)
Instructions
- Make sure your soup or your pan is pre-heated.
- Mix dry ingredients together. Add the alt milk and oil and combine until it's just come together. Don't overmix.
- Get roughly two tablespoons of batter and add to your soup or your pan. If in soup, let simmer for 15 minutes. If on a pan, cook until browning on the bottom.
